We had to check twice if it wasn’t in 1846 instead, but apparently, it is really 1946… In 1954, guitarist Danny Cedrone broke his neck falling down a staircase… he had finished recording “Rock around the clock” a few days before with Bill Haley & the Comets. In 1983, Lee Ryan, “singer” with the uninspired and untalented band “Blue” was born… In 1989, the “New Kids on the Block” were top of the US singles charts… In 1999, a teenage girl was crushed to death in Sweden during a Hole concert in a festival… See, nothing good on this day… Well, at least it is also the birthday of Glenn Buxton (Alice Cooper band), Greg Rolie (Santana), Paul Young, Philip Chevron (The Pogues), Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys), or Michael Monroe (Hanoi Rocks), so that compensates a little…
