The 18 th of September, 2014 The Eparchy of Kostomuksha and State nature reserve Kostomukshskiy invited guests to the ceremony of consecration of the Travel Cross, which was set on the 3rd km from the border crossing point Lyttä. The rite of blessing Cross was made by Bishop Ignatius Kostomukshskiy and Kemsky. In the last century on the orders of Emperor Nicholas II, guarding Crosses were established at the borders of the four sides of the world, in the most remote points of the Russian Empire (in Chukotka, Kushka, on the border with Poland and the Kola Peninsula in the Arctic Circle).
