The 18z/00zGFS models shows that we`ll continue to see chances of showers through at least this Fri as we`ll remain in SWLY flow aloft and 500mb heights in the low 570`sdm. Later Thurs afternoon-evening and into Fri may be a bit wet and a little rainy as a weak low brushes us to our northwest and appears to give some rain at times during this time frame. But otherwise, we may see some breaks in the clouds at times through about Thurs, but as just mentioned, looks like some rain later Thurs into Fri. The weekend now appears to be mainly dry as the next weak low now appears to move in early next week with EURO also showing mainly dry conditions for this weekend, although GEM model shows a chance of a little rain over the weekend. If the extended GFS is to be correct, this looks like a flat-ish ridge in for us by middle of next week with 50-0mb heights in the 570`s with drying/ warming and then the ridge is shown to become more stronger for later next week and 500mb heights rising into the upper 580`sdm. and EURO suggest a chance of showers going into early-mid part of next week as a weak upper level is shown to be over the PNW and then drying/warming a little for around middle of next week as that low exits our region.
