The 1st Congregational Church Pick-A-Party FUNdraiser kicked off last weekend with great results! Several of the many winter dinner parties sold out quickly.... and ... there are many fun opportunities available! The attachments list the parties still available as of November 8th! Please drop by the Pick-A-Party table on Sunday in the Chapel - during either the 9am or 11am Fellowship Time - to learn more or to sign up! The three fun Pick-A-Party events listed here still have seats available.... they will take place on Nov. 15, 23 and on December 5.... take a look and see if one of these is the party you want to pick! Saturday, November 15 @ 4:00pm in South Burlington Family Fun Night and Dinner: Come to the Pick-A-Party Family Night at the Polli house. Families of children aged 2-12 are invited to our house for open play in our basement fun house. Kids will enjoy a bouncy house, ball pit with slide, tunnels, doll house, marker board, play kitchen, toddler swing, and more! $10 per person... half of 30 seats are sold... 15 remain! Sunday, November 23 @ 6:30pm in Burlington Play Poker for Ice Cream! Come join card shark Andy Barker for an evening of betting and bluffing. Andy will teach 3 styles of poker: “Texas Hold ‘Em,” “Shove In,” and “One Card Bluff.” Several hands of each will be played, and the winner of each round will take home 3 pints of ice cream! $20 per person - 7 seats remaining! Saturday, December 5 @ 6pm: Dinner & Conversation at Susan’s Gather for conversation, appetizers (veggie platter with dip, chips with salsa and dip, soft beverages) at Susan Saunders’ home in Shelburne. Susan has wine glasses, but knows nothing of wine. Attendees are welcome to bring their own... Dinner at 6:45 p.m. will include spiral ham, Russian chicken, au gratin potatoes, winter squash, escalloped pineapple, rolls, chocolate pecan pie with whipped cream, decaf coffee and tea. After dinner conversation with friends old and new! $25 person - 3 seats remaining!
