The 1st of this weeks "Walk for Tips." A "Gentle Saunter - for tea and cake." Meeting this Wednesday at 10.30 by the Buzzards in Rosebank Gardens, setting off at 11am. We will wander through Rosebank Gardens and on to the Hills to Earnslaw Quarry (Hidden Lake), through the Wyche Cutting picking up a contour path through Thirds Wood (Little Switzerland) to the Kettle Sings for tea and cake. Depending on the ability of the group there are 3 ways back. The way we came, a very quiet (easy) road past the Chase Inn to the Wyche Cutting and home down the Wyche Road back to the Buzzards or a short climb to the ridge (a little longer but not as steep as Church Street) to Jubilee Hill for a skywalk to the Wyche. I did this walk when I was 7 inc skywalk and Loved it.
