The 2011 Seattle Seahawks were a diamond in the rough. At the beginning of the 2011 season, I predicted the Seahawks would win their first Super Bowl within the next three years. The Hawks with Tavaris Jackson go 7-7 and missed the playoffs but went on to beat the soon to be Super Bowl camps NY Giants, and knocked of a very tough Baltimore Ravens team. 2012 The Hawks sign QB Russel Wilson, LB Bobby Wagner, Bruce Irvin and Back up RB Robert Turben, go 11-5 in the regular season and knock out the Washington Redskins in the playoffs. Year three The Seahawks are projected as the SB favorites. After beating #2 power ranked Sanfrancisco in week two with a score of 29 to 3 They are looking tough. This week they have Jacksonville at home. After an undefeated home record last year this looks like a W. Early in the season, yeah but I am just happy they are making me look smart this far. Predicting a Super Bowl may prove to be an overly ambitious prediction but a fan can only hope. The odds of predicting them doing what they have this far are astronomical.
