The 2013 TechBridge Challenge—the first in a series of solicitations intended to uncover, screen, and validate technologies from promising early-stage sustainable energy companies—is now open. Applicants may apply to the Challenge using the iStart portal, accessible at https://techbridge-microgrid2013.istart.org before midnight on November 6, 2013. The 2013 TechBridge Challenge is seeking innovations that can advance the broad adoption of microgrids. TechBridge will award select startups with contract research and development services from the world renowned Fraunhofer network to provide validation or demonstration of the innovation.
