The 2014 CHL regular season came to and end last night. Steve Cultrera and Paul A. Young (20-7) finished with the same record as Joe Gee and Jon (20-7). A closely contested 1-game tiebreaker sent Steve and Paul into the the playoff bracket as the top seed. Wayne Corriveau and Dan (19-8) finished in 3rd place followed by rookies Tommy Crouse and Voyteck (16-11) in 4th. David Johnson and Dave S (13-14) worked their way into the 6th seed with 4 consecutive match wins to close the regular season. Chris Jackson and Drew (12-15) beat Jason Coan and Michael Turgeon (12-15) in a 1-game tiebreaker to capture the final bye of the first round and sent Jason and Mike into the 7th seed. John Such and Jeremy Dominick (11-16) finished as the 8th seed to set up a first round match with Tr Marcinczyk and Phil Bucchi (11-16) who finished 9th. Steve DaMotta and Brian Klimas (4-23) will face Jason and Mike in the 7/10 first round match. The Cajun Cup championship tournament will be played on Friday October 17th under the lights in Newington. Who will take home the cash and the 2014 Cup as this years best team?
