The 2014 COR Student Writing Awards are official! Here are the results: Matthew Dougherty (Ohio University) is the winner of the 2014 Charles Johnson Fiction Award for his story Shipyards. Caitlin McGill (Emerson College) is the winner of the 2014 Rafael Torch Literary Nonfiction Award for her piece How Much for That Pair of Shoes? Jocelyn Heath (Georgia State University) is the winner of the 2014 Allison Joseph Poetry Award for her poem “Orbital. The winners will each receive an award payment of $500 and be published in the 2015 Winter/Spring issue of Crab Orchard Review. Thanks to all those who entered for giving us the opportunity to read their work and for being a part of demonstrating the high quality of student writing taking place all across the country!
