DTC has grown each year and reached a peak of 20 cars with drivers from Denmark and Norway. It is a young series with experienced drivers, including former F1 and current Corvette factory driver Jan Magnussen, winner of 24 hours Le Mans and the Macau grand prix John Nilsen and your 2014 DTC Champion Casper Elgaard who is also a former LeMans champion. The 2014 DTC Championship ended in a battle between Casper Elgaard in a Mustang and Jan Magnussen in a Camaro with Elgaard taking the title. Ronnie Bremer and Norways Marius Nakken finish a close third and fourth. All cars are produced at Howe and completed by Performance Automotive in Sweden. Thanks to consistent specifications DTC championships are decided by the best driver and team. The DTC is one of the most cost effective racing series in the world. 2015 is looking for continued growth of the class.
