The 2014 UKIERI Study India Programme is now open for applications. The scheme enables undergraduate students from UK universities and colleges to visit India for three weeks to gain experience of Indian culture, people, arts, politics, economy and language. The programme includes a work placement or internship with an Indian company during the visit. Last year over 4000 students applied for 200 places, so it is competitive and applications for this year close on 8 June.
