The 2014 midterm election was indeed a wave election that should give us a glimmer of hope that the people still want limited Constitutional government. However, make no mistake: THIS WAS NOT A REPUBLICAN WAVE; THIS WAS AN ANTI-DEMOCRAT POLICIES WAVE!!! The Republicans by and large did not put forth their agenda; perhaps wisely they stood back and allowed the Democrats to implode. The people and the GOP must not be confused. This election did not endorse the GOP, nor did it necessarily reject DEM politicians - IT REJECTED THE FAILED POLICIES OF BIG UNLIMITED GOVERNMENT! Senator Sessions nails it again: the mandate from this election is to STOP all the crazy liberal progressive socialist policies in Washington. The people are frustrated with BIG Government, so the GOP must be careful to reinforce the lessons and benefits of limited government. BEWARE!!! The GOP will now be tempted to seek reconciliation or accommodation with the king; they may be wondering how they can be bipartisan so as to broaden their appeal to more diverse voters. If you hear that, you will know that the GOP is still seeking the grail of big government albeit with conservative labels; and you should further worry that the GOP will fumble again before 2016.
