The 2015 edition of the Berwick Wheelers Reivers Road Race is now - TopicsExpress

The 2015 edition of the Berwick Wheelers Reivers Road Race is now on the British Cycling events page and open for entries. The course is set in the North of Northumberland. There will be 3 laps of a 28 km circuit, which for those that rode last year please note is 1 lap more than the 2014 edition. The finishing section will again be over an uphill section of unclassified road shortly after the end of the last full lap. The circuit is of an undulating nature in general but is spiced up considerably with a fairly demanding 2 km uphill section quite early in the lap. For this years edition we will neutralise the race roll out until the other side of Ford village thereby taking the sting out of the first part of Ford Bank climb. This will give the steady starters a chance to get some steam up before things get busy - and it will get busy - this course is one for bike racers that like to get their sleeves rolled up! There will be more info as we roll along. Meanwhile get your entries in for this early season event where fortune will favour the brave! https://britishcycling.org.uk/events/details/125637/Reivers-Road-Race#summary Course map to follow
