The 26 year old "Senior Syrian Analyst" Kerry and McCain quoted to make their case for attacking Syria, has been fired for lying about her PhD; the expert was actually an unpaid intern last year, and questions arise about her connection to Syrian Rebels. She recently wrote in the WSJ trying to make the case that the rebels were mostly moderates but did not disclose that she is on the payroll of a rebel advocacy group, also a US and British government subcontractor that provides aide to rebels. CNN did a report on her last night, bringing up the fact that sometimes officials leaking information and then quoting it from publications the next day is actually not as uncommon as we may think.
