The 28th Annual Boston CANshare Food Drive Accepting Donations until December 2nd: The 28th annual Boston CANshare Food Drive - designed to replenish food pantries, soup kitchens and area shelters during the holiday season - is in full swing and accepting donations through December 2, 2014. Food collected will be delivered to the Greater Boston Food Bank for distribution to over 90 emergency food locations. Started in 1986 as a can drive to restock food pantries after the Thanksgiving rush, today CANshare also includes a fundraiser benefiting Boston Bounty Bucks. This campaign is all about making a difference, fighting hunger and caring for others. As such, your generosity is greatly appreciated.
