The 2nd Term bid of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola of the State of Osun was boosted Sat July 12, 2014 when over 500 former Local Govt political functionaries between 1999 and 2002, whom Ogbeni himself described as democracy foundation, presented 3 branded vehicles to support and facilitate the Governors campaign and with a further pledge by the donors to embark on door to door and house to house campaign to actualize Ogbenis and indeed the peoples desire for him to continue and to complete unprecedented people-oriented projects!programme and new lease of life brought to the people of Osun. The Governor despite the lean purse of Osun and despite numerous ongoing infrastructural developments aimed at transforming the State to another Dubai, Ogbeni out of his milk of human kindness still stressed himself futher to commence payment of money owed five different sets of past local govt officials which runs to billions of naira. It was in appreciation of the kind gesture of Ogbeni Aregbesola that 1999-2002 functionaries alone - democracy foundation donated 3 campaign vehicles with a resolution to carry out house to house campaign to boost his 2nd chance in office.
