The 3rd XV left Somerton with 5 points after an impressive 24-19 win. The evergreen Billy Hedges (2), Darran Griffiths and winger Ryan Gregory all weighed in with the tries against a huge Somerton side. The Development team also secured a superb bonus point win against promotion rivals Chew Valley. Stu Vinnicombe (2), John Xanh, Joe Smith and colt Danny Bailey all scored tries in the 32-20 thriller. The 1st XV were racking up a point a minute against Taunton in the Somerset Cup before the game was abandoned on 28 minutes after a serious injury to Taunton fullback Luke Senior, everyone at Hornets would like to wish Luke a speedy recovery. Former Hornet Dan Ogden was having a torrid time at No.8 for Taunton as their scrum was demolished by the Hornets pack. CoThought you were outstanding today mate. Thankyounor Littlewood, Matt Parker, Rob Dempsey and Adam Francis had all touched down before the early finish and No. 10 Sean Disney was 100% from the kicking tee.
