The 4 day International Workshop on Children’s Development Khazana (CDK) marks the onset of a renewed and reinforced momentum to ensure child participation and collective action to help children live their dreams. NGO partners and children from 8 countries and 10 states of India share how CDK has impacted their lives, learn new concepts & methodologies for its better implementation. Children also learn to amplify their concerns through radio shows and demand CDK’s inclusion in formal school as part of the life skills curriculum. The increasing popularity and adoption of CDK by 8 countries across the world and 10 states in India with a membership of almost 13,300 children comes as a huge achievement for Butterflies’ efforts to protect & empower every child.
