The 40th Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach is upcoming in April. We are in need of a couple of guys to work from Thursday, April 10th through Sunday, April 13th in a special VIP area. You will be interacting on behalf of one of the manufacturer’s sponsored areas where their invited VIPs will be coming to the event. We need outgoing, enthusiastic, energetic guys who will be the first and last contact points of our VIP guest. You must be able to work outside in all elements, especially direct sun. The guys we are looking for will specifically be in charge of the Chevrolet Corvette Corral. You will help our VIP guest park their Corvettes in our VIP lot. Hours are 7:30 am – 6:30 pm Friday & Saturday, April 11 & 12. You will need to be able to pick up worker pass on Thursday afternoon. You will also undergo team training where we will show location of work and to discuss your role for the weekend. This should take no more than 1 hour on Thursday. Depending on how well the Corvette Race Team does during the weekend, we may ask for you to also work on Sunday. This work day is still to be determined. The right guys working on our Corvette Corral Team must meet the following criteria: - Clean Shaven - Any visible tattoos will need to be covered with pants or long sleeve shirt - Able to work independently - Will be out in the elements (it will be sunny, possibly fog and cool in the mornings, and some times rainy. Guests will arrive regardless of the elements as the races run at all times.) - Black Pants or Shorts (if not visible tattoos), black comfortable shoes - Polo & Hat will be provided (please provide us your polo shirt size in your reply) Team members will be paid $17 to $18 an hour.
