The 5 things you must know to have a successful dawn patrol on the Green River Narrows. Here are my tips to live in Asheville, paddle the Green and be at fish top in dry clothes by 7:00am ready for the rest of the day whether that means going to work or doing more kayaking! 1.Coffee!! (and a energy bar this is secondary to coffee, I prefer a cliff bar and a banana. I like to down a glass of water as well.) 2.No more than 2 people…maybe 3, you’ve been warned. 3.Load boats and gear on your rig the night before. If possible load it on the car that is going to the put in. 4.Headlamps for the walk down to the put-in trail. 5.Paddle fast and keep checking over your shoulder for your buddy. Safety first. Bonus: Dry your gear the night before so you get to wear dry clothes from the parking lot to the put in. Note:This video is not from a dawn patrol. It is much darker in there at 6:30am in July. #meetthemoment #livingthegoodlife SMAXbros. Wave Sport Adventure Technology Paddles If you have more tips feel free to leave a comment below!
