The 5th Annual Celtic Harvest Festival was held Saturday September 21, 2013 at Poco Diablo Resort in #Sedona. Festival Director Dorothy O’Brien stated, “Our goals are to celebrate the Celtic Arts through educational workshops designed for children of all ages and cultures!” The festival was sponsored by Poco Diablo Resort and Sound Bites Grill. The festival celebrates the end of the harvest and usually coincides with the Celtic New Year which is October 1 - November 1. One of the most notable of Celtic Harvest activities are the dances. One might wonder why the Irish Step Dancers always keep their hands to their sides. Watch the video and find out. Next year’s festival will take place at the Verde Valley School.
