The 5th annual Ride for Ava & Kids Fighting Cancer was a huge success thanks to my FAMILY, Rosehill barn family, dedicated volunteers including all of the Bethlehem Methodist Church youth & their families, vendors, LA Acoustic Band, all of the small businesses who donated items to the silent auction, and Rebecca Runge of Rebeccas Pottery who helps me all year long to make this great day happen! The kids who came out had a blast as usual and left dirty and tired. The grand total (including pre-raffle tickets) was almost $7000!!!! Fran won the Great Wolf Lodge, Shane Gordon won the NASCAR tickets, Cam won the Columbia Zoo, Jamee Blackmon won Carowinds,Tina Burgess won the Palm Beach Sunless Tanning sessions, John White won 2 movie passes, Kathy Helms won 2 passes to Trails Mini Golf & creamery. The other winners were present for their prizes. THANKS TO ALL WHO CAME OUT TO SUPPORT THIS GREAT CAUSE. You are making the life of a child with cancer just a little bit easier.
