The 6th Young Chef Competition, organised by The Macao Culinary Association, is going to be held on 5th November 2013 . As Macau diversifies and advances itself in the hospitality and culinary industry, this competition serves as a platform for young chefs to exhibit their great talents and to exchange culinary skills and creative ideas with their peers. The innovative master pieces prepared by these talented young chefs representing various hotels within Macau including MGM Grand, Mandarin Oriental, City of Dreams, Banyan Tree, Galaxy Macau, Hotel Okura, Venetian and Wynn. There will be twelve competitors with maximum of two competitors from each organisation. Toni Mak, Yves Duron and Dominique Bugnand three highly respected individuals within the local hospitality industry will be the judges. Competitors must use the given food ingredients to create and prepare two dishes. The competition will take place at the IFT combined kitchen at 2pm-4pm. After the competition, award ceremony will be held at the IFT Educational Restaurant at 6pm.
