The 84th Legislative Session begins today and does not end until sine die. Expect long hours and hard work for the next 20 weeks. The reward will be well worth it. Today, we as Legislators, have the opportunity to affect not only public policy in Texas, but the everyday lives of Texans. We owe our families, friends, neighbors, and fellow Texans the respect of our best efforts, both in advocacy and understanding. Lege do this!
