The 850,000 Arabic speaking Jews expelled under dire circumstances from the Arab countries where they had been for periods from hundreds of years to millennia, under threat of being slaughtered, all of their property expropriated were resettled in Israel, and constitute the majority of Israels population. These refugees were always greater in number than the Arab refugees that left Israel, previously mandatory Palestine, as a result of the war to destroy the Jewish State upon it becomming independant. The continued portrayal of Israel as a western sponsered colonial settler enterprise ignores the fact the the majority of Israels population is native to the Middle East.
