The 8A Lady Pups started off with a bang last night defeating Brownwood in 2 games. I was very excited to see what these young ladies would bring to the court after the hard work they have put in the last two weeks. We took the first game easily as Meghan Hoefling served 13 in a row with no return from Brownwood. The second game was a little different. The Pups had some problems getting the first pass up and Brownwood was able to inch closer. The Pups had a stop and were able to pull out a win in a close game. I am proud of these girls and the effort they displayed on the court. We had some great hits from our front row last night. I am excited to see what this season holds for these young ladies. I know they will do great things! The 8A will travel to Liberty Hill Monday, September 9th. Burnet Brownwood 25 14 25 23
