The ANC MUST RULE! I have taken a moment to think about a number of issues affecting me as a black person. A number of issues affecting us as a collective of black people. I am mindful that some of us have long stopped being black due to issues that are deliberately designed to make us see things different to what they should be to us - as black people. How easily we forget the painful past which those responsible are refusing to correct. I have come to realize how irrelevant our arguments are to our own course as black people. The Land Act 1913 has left the rightful owners of the land without any meaningful piece of land. We are squashed into a mere 13% of South Africa that is characterized by shacks and squatter camps. On the contrary, those who annexed the land are still having acres of land to themselves. Theirs are vineyards, beach fronts, farms, mountains, rivers and some parts of the sea. All of these are the benefits of the notorious 1913 Land Act. Yet, we do not make as much noise about that as we make about Nkandla. One need not look far but around the suburbs we traverse everyday to render our services. The yards are large, the houses are massive. Many of them own land illegally taken from our fathers and yet we are silent? They make so much noise about our President and the piece of land he has build on yet they are silent about what they have inherited from apartheid. I am now aware that they do not want to see progressive Africans. They still want to see Bantus living in reserves and we stupidly support them? Helen Zille does not live in a shack. She is on a land forcefully taken from a black family if not the whole clan of Africans. The mines are on the land that belongs to African. The farms and every inch of South Africa belongs to the African and yet the minerals, the seas and its resource are NOT BENEFITING the Africa and WE dont call the Public Protector? We dont demand off them to pay for the many years of illegal occupation of our land? The many years of squandering and looting of our mineral resources? We allow ourselves to be used to advance the course of the modern day oppressor? If they want to talk about Nkandla and who must pay... let them be the first to give back what does not belong to them. The land and every creature in it. They even own the animals that used to roam freely in our land. I have a reason to ensure that the ANC gets the 3rd majority to free our freedom! Come on. Lets do the right thing. Vote ANC,. YES!!
