The ANC needs to design a very stringent tool of screening, rehabilitating and re - educating people who defect from the ANC to join other parties and then come back to rejoin it. Often these people chase positions and rewards across parties, and often use any means to occupy leading or strategic positions in parties. When they dont succeed in getting what they are targetting , they normally create havoc, and cause conflict and rifts, and then defect when they can no longer get anything. They often push every one else to be noticed at the front, often dont care about polices and principles of an organisation, and employ the crudest means of getting what they want in a very short space of time. Such people must not be rewarded with plum positions when they rejoin the ANC, this at the expense of those who remain loyal to the ANC thorough out their lives and through thick and thin.
