The ASPCA has designated today National Dogfighting Awareness Day. Instead of focusing on the bad guys today, we at Pinnacle would like to recognize the good guys- local groups like BadRap (Oakland) and Our Pack (San Jose) that advocate for these dogs and their volunteers that dedicate themselves to helping. We have made huge strides in the last few years in our understanding of these dogs. Ten years ago most people wouldnt have thought that many former fighting dogs can be great pets!
