The AWFA invites senior women players to trial for an AWFA representative team to play in a 1 day tournament against the WPL All-Stars and 2 other representative sides yet to be confirmed. Trials A squad of 20 (including 2 emergencies) players will be selected and only players available to attend the tournament on 4th January and preceding training sessions should attend the trials as follows : Where : Glen Park When : Sunday 24th November and 1st December Time : 12 noon-1:30pm at Glen Park Training : 2 mandatory sessions (Dates to be confirmed, likely Sundays) Coaches : Peter Hovar, Craig McDonald, Les Chettleburgh Tournament Details The tournament will be played in the morning ahead of the A-League and W-League games between the Melbourne Victory vs Brisbane Roar later that day. All players will enjoy free tickets to both those afternoon’s matches.
