The #AXF kids at Braham Kumari park in Santacruz have had a wonderful week of Diwali celebrations. It started with an educative puppet show demonstrating the ill effects of crackers on the environment and people by trainee teachers from Podar Jumbo Kids, Santacruz. This inspired our children to take an oath to not burst many crackers.. The celebrations continued when one our regular food volunteers (jogger at the park) decided to treat the kids to yummy soan papdis and another teaching volunteer,Maanyas son, gifted all the kids with new pencil boxes... but that was not the end..on that last day before Diwali holidays began, the children were surprised with a no study day! The kids played games, received prizes, ate chocolates and yummy idlis and got stationery gift packs from our teaching volunteer Nanditas sons!
