The Aberdeen Press and Journal reports that 23 of 45 Church of Scotland presbyteries have now approved the proposals to allow people in civil partnerships to be ministers. A majority vote of presbyteries in favour was needed for the proposals to proceed, after last years General Assembly voted in favour, and agreed to refer the question to presbyteries.
