The Act Of Desperation By Imo Politicians. I have taken time to study the reason politicians in Nigeria, especially in Imo State, show desperation in their attempt to be in power, and I discovered that it is because, they dont have the interest of the masses at heart. This is laughable! Politicians in Imo State are so desperate that they even go into nasty dealings in order to achieve their inodinate political ambition. Build up to the 2015 general election, majority of Imo politicians are currently carrying out campaign of calumny and self-centredness as a means of marketing themselves. Some of them prophecy good things with their mouth but their heart is far from what they utter. Some of them also see themselves as the most qulified to man governance. We are in a democratic setting and most reject politics of self-acclamation of perfection by political aspirants. Aspirants should allow the masses to exemine and propagate them. They should stop politics of self-campaign and allow the people to state what they have observed in them. Imo people are wiser now. Aspirants should play politics according to its rule. It is only God that owns humanity. People should be allowed to make their choices without fear, intimidation and inducement. Nobody should be prosecuted for supporting whoever he wishes to support. And given support is by choice and desicion of the voter. Let us copy from those who have perfected in democracy.
