The Adamawa State Government has accused the Publicity Office of former Governor Murtala Nyako of over blowing an unfortunate incident that took place at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, on Saturday where intending pilgrims from Adamawa were ‘held hostage’ in a plane. A press statement signed by the Principal Special Assistant on Media to Umaru Fintiri, the acting Governor of the state, Babayola Toungo, and made available to journalists in Yola on Monday noted that the Publicity Office of the former governor wrote with glee at the government’s perceived embarrassment caused by the episode.
