The Additional District Judge of Chinsurah fast track court gave a verdict on 28 th April, 2014 to life imprisonment for Rijwanur Rahaman and Surid Mondal for throwing acid on Saheba Khatun on 25 th August, 2012, being a jilted lover. The Additional District Judge of Krishnanagar fast track court gave the verdict on 30 th April, 2014 for life imprisonment for Babulal Ghosh and Palash Ghosh for throwing acid bulbs on two women in July, 2011. Acid Survivors Foundation applauds the two verdicts. This is just the beginning.
