The Adirondack Daily Enterprise endorses Matt! Ideology aside, we think Mr. Funiciello is simply a better candidate than Ms. Stefanik or Mr. Woolf. He’s more frank, friendly and approachable. He is better than either of them at public speaking and conversation – he’s clear, pointed and not evasive – and the debates showed he’s a quicker thinker on his feet. Ms. Stefanik sticks to a script of party-approved talking points – her much-touted “new ideas” are not new – and Mr. Woolf tends to be muddled and guarded, and to ramble off topic. Both show fear of revealing too much and withhold part of themselves when they face the public, whereas Mr. Funiciello is refreshingly direct. Mr. Funiciello has lived and worked in the 21st District for most of his life. That helps him be more in touch with people here than Ms. Stefanik or Mr. Woolf, neither of whom was a full-time resident of the district until around the time they decided to run for this job. mattfunicielloforcongress.org/?p=549
