The Afghan villagers who protected Marcus(The LONE SURVIVOR) did - TopicsExpress

The Afghan villagers who protected Marcus(The LONE SURVIVOR) did so out duty to their 2,000 yr old code of honor, known as PASHTUNWALI..Pashtunwali requires a TRIBE to undertake the RESPONSIBILITY of SAFEGUARDING an individual(s) against his enemies&protecting him at all costs. These brave men, women&childeren+elders still thrive today in the harsh mountains of Afghanistan&their fight w/the Taliban&ISIS continues...this is something to behold especially to US NEZ PERCE as we did the same for LEWIS&CLARK IN 1805 &the aftermath is HISTORY FOREVER..we fed, clothed, housed, provided for AND PROTECTED the expedition as we escorted them thru hostile territory....this PROVED how much influence our CHIEFS&PEOPLE HELD W/OTHER TRIBES IN THE REGION and we all know ultimately led to our demise&dimishment from the ONCE PROUD KINGDOM WE HAD...I know our PEOPLE have HUGE HEARTS&HAVE ENDURED SO MUCH&Even in the midst of battle&confrontation WE STILL STAYED TRUE TO OUR WAYS........TIME HONORED TRADITION
