The Africa 39 anthology contains fiction by 39 promising writers aged under 40 south of the Sahara and diaspora. The book launches at the Southbank Centre in London on Sunday 12th October, and features Kwani Trusts editorial assistant Clifton Gachagua, also a poet and fiction writer, Nadifa Mohamed and Stanley Kenani in conversation with the anthologys editor, Ellah Wakatama Allfrey. Our founding editor Binyavanga Wainaina researched the longlist and will also be discussing our regions creativity and writing. If in London, do come along to the launch (booking details on link).
