Following Dr GodwinMurungas article today on Ali Mazrui, I told him I yearned to know more about the much mediatised exchange he had alluded to between Mazrui and Wole Soyinka. The good prof shared with me the files from Transitions. I have spent a good portion of the evening reading through them, I can only call it an intellectual long drawn war. The bone of contention is a TV series The Africans: A triple Heritage, written and published by Ali Mazrui. This piqued my curiosity even further. I have checked at you tube and found them right there. I will now quietly watch them to form my own opinion.
