The Air National Guard Readiness Center is proud to be a part of 67 years of rich Air Force history! As we perform operational and technical functions to ensure combat readiness of 105,700 Air National Guard Airmen at 89 ANG wings and units, we are happy to contribute to the Air Force’s success and recognize their accomplishments during its 67th birthday. The Air Force has evolved into a robust Total Force making it the best air force in the world. The ANG stands ready as a Total Force partner ready to tackle any mission, anytime, anywhere around the world. It is an exciting time to be a part of the Air Force … full of challenges and opportunities. During the last 13 years, nearly 20 percent of the ANG force has been activated, providing 25 percent of the Total Force capability. The ANG is looking forward and finding new ways of accomplishing the mission, so we can stay on the forefront of innovation. During the last 67 years, the Air Force has embodied the American spirit. The Air Force has had the same mission for a long time; fly, fight, and win … and we are really good at it. We operate in three domains; air, space, and cyberspace. We bring dynamic expertise while accomplishing the Air Force mission. The last 67 years have seen an Air Force that trains like it fights … it has established a firm foundation by investment in infrastructure, training, and equipment. We have the best Airmen in the world … educated, empowered, and supported. The Air Force family is one of a kind. This is why we are the greatest Air Force in the world.
