The Airbus A 330 landed in London’s Heathrow Airport on a sunny - TopicsExpress

The Airbus A 330 landed in London’s Heathrow Airport on a sunny day. The sun remained good company in England and even in Canada. It seemed like a pilgrimage to the old and beloved country- a place of residence of many lovely people and a hoard of family members. The first stop was in Redbridge and pay homage to a departed dear brother. How time flies and claims one member after another. The prayers, hymns went on till Sunday. Chandri made us proud as she read the Bhagwadgita in full. I read part of it, and was happy to note that my Gujarati had not gone all that rusty. My brother should also be proud to see his three sons, S., R., and A standing on their legs and playing their leading roles in society, whether it is home, New Zealand or U S. His grand children are an added delight. After the closure, I flew on an angel’s wings to Leicester. Bena showed to me what a sister was, what a devout wife was to an ailing husband, what cooking was, and on top, what work was or also the maintaining of a house was. Thank you for making my stay in the town a delight. On top of that, we had the pleasure to celebrate your 40th Anniversary, having just passed my 55th! As usual, I advised about vaccine for Shingles that is now available. Get it, one and all. Saw Vinod who remains a delightful soul. Saw Vijay who is well looked after by him. Old memories were caught up with Suresh, Rekha and Kaki. Pragjikaka, and Praful are even now sorely missed. Meeting our Valifai reminded us that our old dynasty was still vibrant and ongoing. Narabdai’s cooking was out of this world. She had made efforts to present a variety of dishes, each one mouth watering, more so with Mango Rus. Saw Prabha who unfortunately had a stroke. Get better P., and no more traveling by Air, by order-- Returned to London with Arvind, who had come all the way to collect me. We went via Milton Keynes, and met with Vasu, Deepak and Hiten. Like his car, but his singing of Hare Krishna is better. Visited another place where Nyeriites had another funeral. Could not place someone very familiar, then I realized that she was Bhanu from Calgary!! Deepak loaded with clothes for my little guys here. I need them as I have 9 grandchildren, one great and some in the making. And I think India has too many! Went to see Jyotika, without whom Facebook would be dull. Keep at it, Jyot. With Jyotsna to her house, who took me to the airport next day. Saw Natasha, but Daniel remains elusive. Ah well. Some people are too busy, even to meet a close relative. Back in Canada. Picked up by dear wife, and whisked to Pushpa’s house. Visited Subash, (wish him get better soon), Amit and a girlfriend who loves babies- she kept on borrowing my grand child. O K, temporary, as she will have to make one of her one of these days. Bsck home to a quiet life. A welcome one too. Cio everyone. Aurior, Abianto, Aavjo, Kwahiri, fir milenge, and if you know, ne waazie Muchiee.
