The Airport cab system at Chennai airport is by the the most pathetic and and the most idiotic system in India. Never ever in any other city do you find ppl queued up like a ration shop / cinema ticket counter waiting for cab and finally finding out that there is no cab and u have to wait for 30 mins (fact is u gotta wait more than that) . Fast Track, Aviation Express , Prepaid Taxi, all of them are just ripping off ppl . They are like the Airport Taxi Mafias. Umpteen number of times I have had to wait inside the airport counter for more than 30-40 mins and then at the pt of pickup outside.for another 20-30 mins.. I am sending private mails to fast track and aviation express marking a cc to The airport authority chennai ([email protected]). In case of no response in 10 days time.. i am sending the same as an open letter on the internet. Requesting all frequent and regular fliers in Chennai who have faced the same problems to support me in the open letter. Thank you
