The Alberton breakaway group started off by attacking Sedcom - TopicsExpress

The Alberton breakaway group started off by attacking Sedcom (saying they are white owned). They wanted people to transfer their properties to Baleti trust, which was supposed to be a trust for the black Adventist church What people didn’t know is that Baleti, unlike Sedcom, was not a church organisation. In fact, Baleti was and remains the biggest fraud in the history of the Adventist church. The foundation statement of this trust, which is in my possession (see below), does not link the trustees to any church structure or position. In Sedcom people are members because of their positions of leadership that they hold in the church. The three founding trustees remain in their position until they resign or die. And when that happens the remaining trustees, not TOC Excom, then chooses a person to replace the one who has left. In fact, there is no mention of TOC Excom in the founding statement. Baleti was an attempt to hijack church properties by three individuals. Again I say this was the biggest fraud attempt in the church. These three guys who cant even be removed by session or Excom, according to the founding statement, had wide ranging powers. They actually owned the properties and could do as they please.
