The Alex Pathways to Housing program is proud to be recognized with an Alberta Justice Award for their contribution to building a safer and more inclusive community for all Calgarians. As pioneers in the delivery of #HousingFirst programming Pathways clients are supported by an entire team of professionals that include: psychiatrists, physicians, case managers and nurses making us uniquely different from most housing programs. Using Housing First principles, in combination with the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program, Pathways has been helping Calgarys most chronic in homelessness with less than 1% of clients served returning to shelter or rough sleeping. All of the clients in Pathways to Housing have been diagnosed with a mental illness and have experienced prolonged periods of time #homeless.
