The Alexander siblings, their families and those of us who were chosen to be a part of the family have lost a wonderful family member this morning. Gail Alexander Snowden passed away peacefully surrounded by an atmosphere of love. That was not a unique atmosphere for this family. The love and warmth they have is evident in every personal encounter they have and particularly time spent with each other. That love is unconditional and sincere and they truly love being with each other. If you have ever witnessed the end of a family gathering or even a chance encounter with each other in a parking lot you know what I mean. From the first good bye to the actual leaving is at least 30 minutes. Gail and Glenda talked at length every single day. Gail and David played bridge every Wednesday night. I cant even begin to mention the calls, texts, e-mails and visits that are sent and received each day with the extended families. Gail will be missed every day but I know she is in heaven with Mark, Bennett and Evelyn. Arrangements are pending at Rudy Rowland but looking at Friday visitation and Saturday funeral.
