The All Saints Cycle for South Sudan: Pedal for Treadles was a rolling success. Supporting projects for Twic East Diocese in South Sudan, including treadle sewing machines and gasoline powered grain grinding mill, these hardy walkers and bikers enjoyed an almost perfect afternoon in Omaha this past Sunday. The brisk in-your-face breeze on the return trip just made us pump a bit harder and appreciate that we have bikes for pleasure and transportation in comparison to the most common mode of transportation in South Sudan, walking! The event was opened with a blessing by Bishop Ezekiel Diing Malangdit and his wife Rebekah, from Twic East. Thanks to all the supporters of the planned projects, to the ASC South Sudan Mission Team for extraordinary effort in making the event a success, and to the Electric Green shirted participants!
