The Alpert Mendelson Library Book Club Reading List for 2014-2015 is now available in the temple library and on our website. Please stop by and pick one up. The club will kick off on Wednesday, September 17. And, we love to greet new members! The book clubs are open to non-members. The Daytime Club: Wednesday, September 17, 1 pm FROM BOMBOLINI TO BAGEL: A STORY OF TWO WORLDS, by Jackie Gmach, with Hillary Selese Liber. Jackie has been very active in our San Diego Jewish Community and at the JCC; Im sure you all know her name. Jackie was born into a loving patriarchal family in Tunisia and later moved to France, Israel, and Canada before making her home in San Diego.
