The Amadeus Chamber Choir are once again preparing for their annual appointment with the public for the 24th Edition of ‘A Prelude to Christmas’ under the distinguished direction of Mro. Brian Cefai accompanied by an orchestra. The pieces that will be performed during this year’s edition will be nothing short of a delightful experience for the participating audience , with a vast repertoire that ranges from well known classic Christmas carols to works that are less popular during the festive season. The choir and soloists will render interpretations of compositions by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Schwartz, Adam, Berlioz, Gounod amongst others. This edition of ‘A Prelude to Christmas’ will be held at the Mdina Cathedral (with the kind permission of the Mdina Cathedral Chapter) on Saturday 20th December at 7.30pm.
