The American Association of University Women-Roanoke Branch recently awarded scholarships to several Roanoke-area high school seniors and college students during its annual meeting. The association presented three $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors and three $1,500 scholarships were awarded to local nontraditional women college students. Maria Roncal, a current Hollins University student double majoring in Biology and Spanish, is a recipient of one of these $1,500 scholarships. Congratulations, Maria!
