The American Cancer Society is conducting a CANCER PREVENTION STUDY, also known as CPS-3. Maybe you’ve heard about it? If not, here is some quick information, this is the 3rd time that the American Cancer Society has conducted such a study. The last time they did a large study like this they were able to link second hand smoke to cancer....a huge discovery! Would you consider joining in this study and help the Cancer Society celebrate more Birthdays? ACS is looking for volunteers between the ages of 30-65, and for people who have NOT, been diagnosed with cancer, (skin cancer is OK) to commit to a long term internet based on-line study by following your health history. You will be asked to fill out a medical history questionnaire on line and then go to a participating location to have some lab work completed. THIS IS VERY CONFIDENTIAL...IN FACT YOUR LAB WORK WILL HAVE A # ASSIGNED TO YOU AND ONLY YOU. YOU WILL SPEND MORE TIME COMPLETING THE HEALTH HISTORY THAN YOU WILL GIVING THE 7 TEASPOONS OF BLOOD. IT IS THAT SIMPLE. THAT REALLY IS ALL THERE IS TO IT!
